Restorative Yoga: Monday evenings at Artemis Yoga

7:30 to 8:30 p.m. US Eastern


Restorative Yoga uses props to support the physical body in poses where the intention is not to stretch, but to rest.


Restorative Yoga is about softening, calming the nervous system, and creating space for radical acceptance.


As a gentle class, restorative is suitable for recovery fitness days or for those recuperating from injury. You do not need any yoga experience. The pace is gentle and calming.
There are three ways to practice through Artemis Yoga:

  1. Practice in person at Artemis Yoga by registering for the in studio class.
  2. Practice live with the group via Zoom by registering for the online Zoom meeting.
  3. Practice at a time that matches your schedule: sign up for the online Zoom meeting, but do not sign in at the beginning. After the practice is over, a link with a recording of the practice will be emailed to you so that you can practice at a time convenient to you within seven days.
